Siren Blood Curse makes a great game much more simple with a different approach

Siren Blood Curse is a remake of the original Forbidden Siren game. It presents the game as a TV show, with each chapter viewed as an episode. The previews can get annoying as after every chapter you are showed glimpses of what you will be playing in the next minute or two. I'm sure it was intended to raise the suspense and stuff like that, but I skipped them just in case not to spoil anything.

The game is also more simplified, taking many of the unnecessary playable characters out of the story, and making the leading ones westerners. The story this time around isn't as cryptic but gets well explained at the end instead.

Don't mistake Siren Blood Curse for a survival horror game, as its a stealth horror game where you cannot kill enemies but instead have to take the sneaky approach and distract them from their patrol routes and get past them.

The sight jack feature is still here, you can see what your pursuers are seeing and act accordingly or move out of their way if you notice them heading your way, even while they are around the next corner or far away.

Siren Blood Curse is a weird game alright, give it a shot if you enjoy sneaking around poorly lit and fogy areas.
