Skate 2 was amazing and this is better by far. Best in the series and best in the skate franchise.

Never had I thought that the Tony Hawk skateboarding games were terrible until playing the skate series. Utilising the analogue stick for your tricks was something that should have been brought along at the same time as the dual shocks came out.

The hall of meat challenges are exciting and stomach turning to play with the perfectly timed bone crunches and that sound that makes everyone laugh when your skater hits his head on a metal beam and you get that loud ring.

The single player part is an experience that should be played by everyone, not just skating fans.

And I could write all day about the online (when it wants to work).

All in all the skate series really brings a new and fresh take on what was becoming a dying breed and I didnt think it could get better than skate 2 but I was wrong.

If you have ever thought about trying something different, then hire this now. If your a sports fan in general, go out and buy it now.
