Skate just made T.H. look REALLY stupid!

This is a skateboarders game. First of all I was a big fan of the Tony Hawk series when it first came out in 99. Thankfully games have evolved a bit. Skate is an absolute evolution in skating games. Skate pulls a page out of Fight Night Round 3 with the right thumb stick being the main weapon in game control. This takes a few minutes to get comfortable with but definately emulates the same actions your feet would make if you where actually on a board. This game takes finesse with the controller! If you think you're a bad man with the sticks pick this game up and we'll talk. Yes having to do trick specific challenges can get very frustrating (the mansion, OMG!!!!) but so does skating in real life. You get sponsors, theres a ton of gear and equipment to unlock and Bam Margarine's stupid ass is no where to be found in this game! Awesome!

The city you skate is a skaters heaven. I can ride around for hours just tricking off stuff and cruising. You can even video tape your runs and edit them like an actual skate vid. I'm not a fan of replay at all but editing your runs is actually fun.

Final thought? This is the skateboarding game for skateboarders. This game is fun and definately challenging. Why did gamespot give it a 7.5 rating? Cause Activision just bought em all lunch at the Olive Garden!
