This was the first game I ever played for an Xbox 360, I almost cried when I saw it. This is no doubt going down in history to start a new era of gaming, the reason I took off .5 of the score is because of the whole not being able to get off the board thing, I can already say that skate 2 will be better, but I cant beleive that gamespot only gave it a 7! I mean come on, in the category of gaming it is no doubt at least a 9, If it is a 7 then all the Tony hawk games must be a 4.5 or lower, I mean come on gamespot, think of all the nightmares tony hwak gave you, speeding up while grinding, being able to do a 10 tricks in one ollie, never breaking bones, no jams, no best trick competitions, tisk tisk gamespot, for the first time, I am dissappointed in your rating. Everyone who gave this below an 8 obviously doesnt like skateboarding. I dont know why people who dont skateboard would even bother buying this though, that would be like someone who hates Medal of Honor buying Call of Duty or Brothers in arms. I guess what I'm trying to say is that this game is near perfect, including the story, the worst part is having to skate uphill to get to the perfect spot to do a line/trick. Skate 2 will have waaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy better reviews, I just hope the story is good and the controls are as easy to use. THANKS FOR READING!!! -Laliberte11
