Skate is a game that you can just pick up and play. Within a matter of hours you can be popping 360 flips onto feebles and get that oh-so-warm feeling of satisfaction. I don't know what it is about skate. It's just an immersive, innovative experience that lets you actually nearly feel like you're on a real skateboard. Being a skateboarder myself, I should be the one to judge. The online play is great, and the amazing introduction of recording videos makes it feel like you're the one going out there, getting footy, and making your way up the ranks. To sum it all up, there isn't really anything I can complain about, except for the fact that we can't get off the board, but in Skate 2 they're supposed to be fixing that. For now, just hop on the wagon, or you can wait, of course, because Skate 2 is coming out in January, which will be a definite cop.
