Skate put you in total control of your fully customizable character by putting the board at the tip of your thumbs. No more button mashing with this game, just pure skill. No more 20 foot ollies, or clearing the fun box when all you want to do is ride it. Of course I'm talking about Tony Hawks Pro Skater. If you want a totally realistic skate game then Skate. is the game you want. Although the challenges can get a little frustrating, (one challenge has you do a 360 flip to a FS crooked) the totally awesome gameplay definately makes up for it. Be ready to spend hours on this game just skating, yeah, just skating. I sometimes found that doing the challenges was not as fun as just skating. You have all of San Vanelona to skate, skate, and skate. Get sponsored, earn some cash, then go skate some more. As you progress through the storyline you'll unlock sicker spots to skate. You can challenge the pros such as Danny Way and Ryan Smith to a game of S.K.A.T.E which is cool. One bad thing about this game is the fast travel system which can take some time to load for a relatively short distance. But overall Skate. is a fantastic game. I really hope EA comes out with another one!
