I was so reluctant to buy this game at first because it was a new RPG I've never heard of and I wasn't fond of the box art when I first saw it. Looked too anime-esque. I bought it. And it is one of the best purchases I've ever made. From the start the game you are emerged into this beautiful of floating islands, flying ships, and beautiful looking characters. The game starts off slow, but as you progress you gain a cast of memorable characters and an awesome airship. Random battles can become repetitive. That's the only problem with this game. But, the ship battles require strategy and are quite long. I love it when you're fighting in boss battles and the music plays differently depending on who's winning the battle. It really gets you immersed. Dungeons are well designed, and special attacks are showy (but you can cut them off). The villains have distinct characteristics that make them stand out. Best RPG ever made. A must have.
