Best GTA Rip-off, yet!

This game borrows so much from GTA, but that's ok, because there aren't enough open world games like this. And it really is wide open, with tons of attention to detail and immersion.

My biggest gripe on that front being the lack of spoken Chinese. It's supposed to be Hong Kong. I know most gamers hate reading these days, but come on, subtitled Chinese should it at least be an option.

As for the gameplay, it's not quite as fluid as GTA4, but its still pretty good. The greater emphasis on melee combat it nice too, and done a lot better than in games like Yakuza. Plus it has all sorts of vehicles you can drive, and they handle more like in GTA than, say, Saints Row 3. Unlike SR3 though, you're stuck playing their bland choice of protagonist.

I'd recommend this to anyone who's a fan of GTA sandbox style gameplay. I just wish there were a little more to do as far as side missions and just screwing around in the open world. Seems a little light, as far as that goes.

I typed this up in about five minutes, because who the hell reads all these player reviews, anyhow.. just wanted to get it off my chest. Especially the bit about the immersion-breaking English dialogue. Just kinda bugs me, but I know I'm in the minority, here..
