I'm going to be honest, I don't believe in horror games. The last good scare I got out of a game was Condemned and the elementary school level. But yesterday, I got an email from a friend telling me to check out this game called Slender. The game is based on a bulletin board camp fire story, straight from the depths of the Internet and CreepyPasta. I honestly thought the idea was going to be stupid, but as soon as I got into the game, I instantly felt paranoia. That feeling that someone is watching you look for these notes (Your objective is to search for notes, cluing you in about good ol' Slendy. The more notes you collect, the faster Slenderman becomes. Here is a hint: he is always behind you, so don't turn around.). The game takes the rules of Amnesia and uses them in this free horror game (Don't look at the monster or else you lose "sanity"). I have got to 5 notes but instantly get caught by Slendy.
This game is unique in it's own way You aren't gonna find a game anywhere based on a CreepyPasta. And CreepyPastas, are, well, creepy.
