Sly 2: Band of Thieves is one of those games that I wanted to keep playing. It's a unique game that's extremely fun.

"Sly 2: Band of Thieves" is an EXCELLENT game. I recently purchased the game, and have already beaten it twice, with 100% completion on both game files. An engrossing platformer, with a great storyline and good variety, you will likely have a blast with this game, whether you rent it or buy it. In this game, the star is the cool, master thief "Sly Cooper." You are joined by your team which help make up the "Band of Thieves." There is the big, pink hippo, "THE MURRAY" and the brains of the opertaions, the intelligent Turtle, "Bently." Together, the three (Sly, Murray, and Bently) journey from land to land in search of the stolen "Clockwerk" parts, Various broken-down parts of the evil metal owl creature whom Sly defeated in the prequel. On your tail throughout the story is the determind Cop, Carmelita Fox. The KLAWW gang are the culprits, and each mission (eight in all) centers on a member of the KLAWW gang. Sly, Murray, and Bently must all work together to pull off certain jobs that leads up to one, incredible final job to retrieve a Clockwerk part. In some levels, you'll have a boss battle with a KLAWW gang member. All the boss battles are really cool and vary from moderately easy to moderately challenging. The gamplay in this game is AWESOME. The controls are super smooth and great. It's natural and fun to control the Band, especially Sly Cooper since he has even more moves and can walk on thin ropes and such. The level design is brilliant, in that all the levels are wide-open and yet it's not frustrating to navigate. There's a Safe House in each level and there are waypoints that tell the location of a job start-point. The music in this game is unique, fun, and very appropriate to each level. It really is excellent music and is also memorable music, that when you hear it, you'll really like it. The sound is top-notch as well, as is the superb voice-acting. This game has some of the finest voice-overs in any game yet. The characters in this game are very cool, and you will likely care about Sly and especially your comrades. Throughout the missions there is also good variety to spice things up for each character. You can also purchase new gadgets, which are great fun to use. Be sure to get the code to unlock the secret gadget "TOM" which is Hilarious! Also hilarious is the humor in this game, many of the characters and situations in the game is really funny and witty. I don't want to go into too much detail about this game, so that you will enjoy the game even more when or if you play it. It's a very satisfying game, and one that's fun to play again and again. There are no faults in this game that detracted from the gameplay experience. The gameplay, graphics, music and sound are all top notch. This game is perfectly entertaining. It's really compelling, fun and addictive. I HIGHLY recommend "Sly 2: Band of Thieves."
