What The First Game Should Have Been.
Luckily, within a half hour of starting the game my fears turned into rejoice. I'm amazed at the turn-around and re-vamp done to the sequel, it just fits perfectly with what Sly as a character along with his band stand for (with hilarious dialogue at times and an interesting story to boot), you can tell Sucker Punch went through alot of feedback loops while developing this game, and that's all I have to say about that. The game mechanics and such I'd rather leave the floor for Gamespot's review to cover, simply because I have nothing more to add to it.
Bottomline, don't let the flaws of the first game fall you, or better yet just skip through the plot of the first game and start playing the sequel right away, it has THAT vast of a difference in terms of impression. Now I can only hope Sly 3 amazes me even more (which I'll start playing soon), but even though it doesn't improve it's fine just the way it is in the second game structure-wise.
