It's a fun, destructive, and quirky little taxi/racing game. A straight port from the arcade. Though better in the arcad

Gameplay: In this weird little taxi game, you step into the shoes of a taxi driver trying to make some dough. At first you might think that this game is a Crazy Taxi clone. Well, your wrong. Unlike Crazy Taxi, in this game you have to race against not only the time but another rival taxi. So, it's like part taxi game and part racing game. Each level/shift consists of traffic, power-ups, ramps, and shortcuts. Power-ups include Sonic Blast, Turbo Boost, Glider, 4x4, Cutter, and Crash. Sonic Blast turns your horn into a traffic killing machine, one honk of that sucker and traffic goes bye bye in a firey explosion. Well, Turbo Boost and the Glider are pretty self explanatory. 4x4 turns your taxi into a giant monster truck ready to crush anything in it's path.

Cutter makes two random saw blades appear at the front of your cab and gets you ready to cut through traffic. No pun intended. Crash just turns the front of your grill into a raging bulldozer. Shortcuts are also a nice lifesaver/timesaver to get by on. There are 3 modes of play in this whole game. Each mode consists of 4 shifts, it's classified like this: Early Bird Shift- Easy, Rush Hour Shift- Medium, Night Owl Shift- Hard, and Dusk and Wired Shift- Reward (Unlockable). Also, each shift consists of 3 stops each like for example in the Early Bird Shift, you go to Brooklyn, Wallstreet, and then Little Italy. Okay, now for the modes. In arcade mode, you just race against the clock and beat the other rival taxi to your destination. All the shifts aren't insanely difficult to beat but you'll probably get stuck on the last one. Unlocking the last shift is pretty much worth it, especially when you get to chase King Kong up a building. The next mode is Survival mode and in this mode you just play regularly like you do in Arcade Mode through all the shifts except you have to avoid damaging your vehicle because once you total your cab, your done for. In my opinion, Arcade Mode is better in many ways. The last mode is just a Head-to-Head Mode/2 player mode where you just race against each other to see who's the best cab driver. Graphics: The graphics have an awesome sleek and edgy 3D look to it. From the bad ass looking cab to the big, tall hustle and bustling city of NY. Explosions makes for some pretty good eye candy as does the traffic full of cars and debris everywhere.

Sound: The sound is pretty decent whether it be from the sound of your Mega Horn/Sound Blast blowing up traffic or the collision to another vehicle, the sound is breathtaking, just kidding. Music wise the game is not to bad with only three catchy little tunes which can get a little boring after a while but still bearable.

Replay Value: Once you beat the Single player modes a couple times, you'll be pretty much tired out on the single player experience. You might come back to it in like a few weeks or so. The one thing that will most likely bring you back to this game in less time is the 2 player mode which is pretty fun playing against a friend. Well, that pretty much sums it up for now.
