The X-Ray kills cams are great and it's satisfying when you make a headshot, but flashiness doesn't make a game.
The graphics are good, its not a bad looking game and the bullet ballistics are convincing. The game has some cool special effects, well actually just one and it's called X-Ray Cam, apart from that there's nothing much in this game.
Now let's discuss another element that makes a game, yes i'm talking about the enemies and they are absolutely dumb. They are stupid, take cover in wide open spaces, if one enemy soldier sees his dead comrades he mysteriously won't raise an alarm but will instead come looking for you by himself, enemies inside buildings are completely ignorant towards all the gunfire and explosions occurring outside on the streets, they repeat the same few dialogue(s) again and again making you wonder where did the developers spent all their money cause they certainly didn't spend any on voice acting. Apart from that there's a mysterious phenomenon present in this game where enemies spawn when you cross an invisible boundary and disappear when you go back.
The level design is nearly linear and there's no room for creativity, the combat is repetitive and for me got boring after the first two levels. There is no depth in the story, in fact there isn't any.The whole game has the feel of a budget shooter, in fact i bought it at a budget price.
To sum it up:
4th May: game arrived, played it for 2 hours and banged my head against a wall, started comparing it with the first instalment and got depressed, went out and got drunk.
5th May: bit of a hangover but clocked the game and later wondered just WHY!..... WHY!.
6th May: Sunday
7th May: sold the game. but, still wondering WHY!. just what's the point of this game.
