Once again, snood for the handheld disappoints

User Rating: 3.9 | Snood 2: On Vacation DS
Again, the developers of Snood fail to impress on Nintendo's handheld. I bought this game for my wife, who was absolutely addicted to the computer version of snood a while back. Trying to recapture that kindred spirit, I bought both the GBA version a while ago. That version had horiffic graphics, and was nearly impossible to control.

This version for the DS is not much better. Again, the graphics are bad, and the reason for it is just not understandable. Most of the items are static - how hard could it be to simply replicate the images on the PC version? It's virtually impossible to control with the stylus, essentially eliminating the point of this game's existence on the DS (unless you're left handed). The music is repetitive, and the snoods hard to see because they're so small.

Some of the new level designs are cute, and the puzzle elements slightly inspired, but to an unimpressive degree. After paying $20 for the game, you should be able to select the cheat aiming line available to you in the PC version.

Just a sloppy presentation.
