Snoopy vs. the Red Baron is a great game. Though not as intense as the Ace Combat series for the PS2, it still provides a good air-air combat. It features classic Peanuts characters, to boot. The campaign is pretty fun, and involves missions such as stealthily flying under radar, or protecting your fellow comrades. The Peanuts gang (Sally, Linus, Rerun, Lucy, Franklin, Marcie, Peppermint Patty, Shroeder, Pigpen and Charlie Brown, even Woodstock) all make an appearence, in the campaign, or the multiplayer. The multiplayer allows 2 people to take to the skys in 4 maps, with varied modes of play, and with or against 6 other AI planes. These options are also available for a single person aswell. Each of the gang has their own plane, varying in stats of health, stunut, and speed. Scattered about are pickups, which act as secondary weapons (missiles and Roman Candles to potatoe guns). The game is geared to mostly a child audience, but it provides a laugh to older gamers as well.
If you are looking for a high-paced, big explosion game, look elsewhere. But, if you aren't, Snoopy vs. the Red Baron is the way too go.
