The best PS2 online game.

All the SOCOM games to date have been great additions to the Playstation 2, but this is by far the best. It improves on the formula from the last ones and fixes any mistakes they may of had. They improved the graphics by a little, I think they are pushing the Playstation 2 to its limits. The A.I. is better then before but they will still occasionally act retarded. The game play has remained pretty much unchanged except for a few touches like with the HUD and the command menu. The story is the same old thing, where ever freedom is threatened the SEALs are there to defend it blah blah blah. My favorite addition to this game is the weapon customization. It is really deep and easy to get used to and makes the game that much better. There are also vehicles this time around and that adds some depth to the game play. The sound affects are are also really good and really draw you into the action. The missions are really well done and you can go back after you have already beaten the mission and complete secondary and bonus objectives if you have not already done so, which gives the game great replay value. Another thing new to the series is the addition of crosstalk features. What you do is complete bonus objectives in the missions on SOCOM 3 and connect your Playstation 2 to your Playstation Portable with SOCOM Fireteam Bravo in it and you will unlock bonus content in that game and vice versa. The number one thing about this game that is so good is the awesome on-line play. It takes SOCOM to the next level. You can have up to 32 players on one map at a time and the maps are just amazing. You can use the vehicles on-line which is really fun and there are a lot of different type of objectives you can put on the map. Overall this is an amazing game and the best in the series, it is a must have for any Playstation 2 owner.
