Socom has long been known as a fantastic online game that suffered in the offline department. Not anymore. The offline campaign is acually pretty fun and you will want to play through the entire game. Although the online requires it for you to get upgraded weapons and a ghuille suit. The online is very fun with plenty of people playing 24/7. Though, with most online games, you always get the whiny little twelve year old with the voice modifier, good thing we have a kick button. This game excels at bringing online gaming back into the home. Even with some of the clan related problems and the fact you need a credit card(its still free) to verify an account, this game is still an awesome game with a pretty good offline mode. in conclusion, Socom does have its flaws, but it is way outnumbered by its great aspects.
Good: Online and offline mode keep the fun coming. Bad: Making us play through the offline 3 times for Ghuille Suit.
