I'll say this first because its a major online issue with socom 3, if you want to get the full feeling and all the bells and wistles with socom 3 online have a credit card on hand, it dosn't cost anything but you may notice a doller taken off your card to see if its valid or not. But! there are 3 major issues going on with the credit card, csr error 44, 60 and 100 which it seems no matter what you do wont go away, but in some cases if you give it a few trys it will work. so now to the review:)

Single player isn't the main attraction to this game, its solid and is fun the first time but you unlock everything including guns and suits for multiplayer you will have to beat this multiple times on multiple levels, which really gets boring after around the second time. Also if you have Fire team bravo for the psp you can unlock content that way.

Graphics arn't all that flashy they are good considering 32 players online and huge maps and the lag stays fairly good so its amazing what zipper did to make this game its still very impressive but who needs good graphics to have a solid game? not i :)

Sound in this game is great, nice sounds on the big explosions that are awsome this time around huge explotions sounds and look deadly the gun fire sounds what i guess to be very real, i never heard real versions of those guns go off but they sound real good:)

Online play is where you want to be the ranking system is a bit off the wall because leaving and disconnects are a BIG issue to online ranking its a huge pain major pain extremely annoying and yes you probably get my point, but overall it kinda gets the job done. There is still rank up rooms and all that but not as many. You also get to choose a ranked game or unscored game if you just want to lay back and get some practice in.

Glitching and cheats. Cheats dont seem to be an issue in socom 3. Glitches arn't that big of an issue but they are there which can be a pain but its a game and games will have glitches and if there is a glitch for an online game people will find it. It's rare but its there so it isnt a huge worry and it dosn't overall take from the game.

Friends list, making a clan joining a clan playing in ranked games you will need a credit card, but some people are none to verify your account for you but i wouldnt count on it right away.

Final words socom 3 is a great online game but with a catch the credit card. Its a pain and there was no worning on the game case so they really suckered people in but nonetheless you can't go wrong with a solid online shooter.
