It's not the first SOCOM thats for sure.

I think SOCOM II fails bigtime to live up to the first SOCOM. I thought the game was cool but i could never get past the choppy gameplay. The first game was smooth and all the movements were "realistic". SOCOM II the movements seem like they skip around alot. But shooting stuff kind of makes you forget about that. Being the SOCOM name i had to pick this game up. The single player missions are very fun, Theres lots of new weapons to pick from and new teammates. There isn't really much of a story that i found anyway just pretty much go here shoot them grab the stuff. The games online mode plays out alot like the single player,choppy. I never really logged that much playing time online, i could never really get used to it. After playing the first SOCOM for so long you kind of get used to it. My thoughts on SOCOM II is it doesn't live up to the first but it's pretty good in it's own way.
