It is socom 1 with better maps, slightly better graphics and a few new multiplayer modes.

Socom 2 has a single player but chances are that you don't care because there are better single player experiences out there.In this review I'm gonna only talk multiplayer, improvements and gameplay. Socom 2's multiplayer is just as good as the first one but a little more updated.This game's graphics could be better but are as good as they need to be for a tactical shooter. Once again it in third person and you can switch to first person by using the D-pad.this game has really competitive multiplayer and a lot of community features.Some of the community features are clans and text messages.Basicaly this game is Socom 1 but better.The gameplay is very tight and will be copied by various games as time goes on. This game is a must have online game that will have you addited for hours on end.
