One word....Addictive. Very addictive. Only if you have online though. Socom 2 revolutionized squad-based online shooters. And that's that. The Gameplay- Quite outstanding considering it's a squad-based shooter that enables you to control 4 other squad members at the same time or in pairs. Everything moves quite smoothly but framerates do drop quite frequently online and when a very big fight scene happens. Character movements are fluid and very easy to distinguish. The Graphics- Great but it does get VERY choppy during heavy battles and explosions especially online. The levels are very detailed and have quite a large size to them. Framerate drops are recent but you should still be able to enjoy the game. The Controls- Controls are tight and aiming is fairly easy depending on which sensitivity setting you have it on (recruit, sailor, SEALs). The Sound- Gun shots and character movement are very clear and detailed. Moving through bushes can be heard from the opposition and vice versa. Running makes considerably more noise then walking or walking whilst crouched. The Value- Well isn't it your lucky day? Socom 2 just went platinum. $20 a pop. Go get one. (American Dollars) Socom 2 will satisfy the true hardcore shooter and will definately make them very very happy. There are some very intense moments when its 1 on 1 online.
