Wasn't sure what to expect because I wasn't part of the Socom hype at the time when this game came out but after a month or so of it's release I was addicted. The single player missions were absolutely amazing but the makers of the game (Zipper Interactive and SCEA) should not only be paying attention to the quality of the single player for this game atleast the quality of the online for this game went from good to extremely terrible! Glitches, Jerks, Hit Detection those were just some of the problems in this game for Socom 2.
Trust me! The SOCOM Series is in the right direction it just needs to improve its quality im sure Zipper Interactive will be fine and they will create the perfect sequel.
