This game didn't thrill me for some reason.

I used to have the first SOCOM for the PSP, and frankly, I enjoyed that one much better, even though that one had a lock-on targeting system. My biggest complaint about this game is the graphics. I'm never one to claim that graphics make a game, but the environments and colors are so dark, blurry, and bland in this game, it makes it hard to see what you're doing. Offline and during online play.

The PSP version was so brighter and sharper. Anyhoo, I'm not much of a fan of "stealth" in video games either, and this one has alot of it for the single player mode.

The bright sides to this game is that control is pretty fluid, there are always thousands of people online to play with, PLUS you can play coop missions online too. That is, if you enjoy the story missions anyway. :-)

I would have enjoyed this game alot better if the graphics were brighter and clearer. As is, I only really play this for multiplayer when my brother comes over.
