If you're used to the PS2 versions don't buy this game!

The SOCOM series have always been great tactical shooters on the ps2. But the for the psp i have to say i was really disappointed.
heres why:
-The controls suck! this is by far the worst control system ever! i cant stand it! all because of the one analog stick! THIS GAME NEEDS TWO ANALOG STICKS! you can barely aim and shoot, aiming and walking is a hard chore!

-Unresponsive controls, the square button does 3 things! omg! it reloads and is an action button such as setting charges and giving medkits and stuff, since one button does the same thing its really unresponsive!

-AI is dumb and stupid. Your ai teammates can run onto walls often and dont shoot enemies even they are near them. enemy ai is also dumb and they dont die pretty quick

Now for the good stuff.
-Multiplayer is great although the control system still makes it a rough ride.
-Story is good, like all socom games.

and thats it lol

overall i was really disappointed and i didn't expect it to be this way but anyways if your looking to play socom GO BUY IT FOR THE PS2!
