A solid game that will have you wanting more (but also give you more)!!!

I just got the game yesterday for Christmas. I started playing last night and as soon as I woke up this morning I just had to pop it back in to my PSP. This makers of this game do a good job of making you feel immersed within the missions and combat. They do this with the use of suprisingly good graphics, background nature sound effects, and some pretty good voice over.
Being as though I haven't played a SOCOM game since it first came out on the PS2, I was a bit nervous about whether I would be able to pick up the techniques quick enough. But the learning curve for this game is fairly short and all of the controls are natural.
I have always loved these type of reconnaisance, stealth games (ie Syphon Filter, Tenchu) so this game is right at home in that respect. Also, I hear that the multiplayer mode is awesome but I haven't been able to try that out yet but I can see how it would be great.
This is a pretty good game and it deserves a rating of 8.5 or higher.
