Nice Recon Game, Good Graphics, Great Storyline.

User Rating: 8.1 | SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo PSP
This being my first PSP game I was weary of what my first, groundbreaking PSP game would be. I went through several choices until I finally settled on this game. When I first popped it in, I was a little hesitant at the slow loading screen, but I suppose every game has one. The graphics were pretty detailed for being a handheld game. I’m used to the pixilated, short screened games on the Game Boy line, so the LCD screen with it’s vivid colors and clarity was great. However the scenery was a little dark and hard to see on many occasions. The story line is pretty good. Your basic story line for a recon-like game. Terrorists, plots to take over the world, and such. The weapons were modern and stayed realistic. Basic assault rifles, machine guns, and sniper rifles filled the SOCOM arsenal. Some of the levels were a bit difficult, but not enough to give it a bad rating. I didn’t like the fact that it didn’t have save points, so if you died, you had to go all the way back to the beginning. At times I was with in eye site of the end of the level, and would catch a stray from an enemy. This frustrated me. All in all I’d say that this game is definitely worth buying. I played non-stop and got more than half-way through the game in a matter of hours. It’s a fun, action packed, intense, game that any war game fan can will like. Good game, should be put on wish lists and receipts around the world.
