So Much Killing in such a Small Package

I anxiously awaited the arrival of SOCOM FTB for the PSP as I just recently finished SOCOM3 on my PS2. I can't get enough of this SOCOM action and I hope...no I pray that Sony keeps pumping out missions for future SOCOM operations. It never gets old rescuing the Vice President using a hand full of flash bangs or liberating a third world village from some Al Quaida terrorists!

There are so many good things to say about SOCOM FTB that I'm going to limit it to only a few and then tell you the few less desirable points about the game. Graphics are great for a platform this size..better than I expected. Multiplayer was also a kick in the pants via a wireless hotspot though I got my butt handed to me the first 4 to 5 times I played. The "Instant Action" feature is really cool and will definately make spending $42 worth it for kids and adult gamers. The last really cool feature that Sony and the boyz obviously put some real engineering and thought into was the crosstalk feature between the PS2 SOCOM3 and the PSP SOCOM FTB. The ability to be able to unlock features in both games makes owning both platforms very enjoyable. I hope this is a feature Sony will continue to manifest in other titles for the PS2/3/PSP platforms.

What are you waiting for........go and buy this game it rocks. Oh ok, the downers are your thumbs will be sore from the little analog thumb pad and until you get use to the soft touch of the thumb pad and the holding the "L" button down while you move around....you are going to get shot at alot!

Good luck and I'll see you in my cross hairs...........
