A must-play for fans of the series for the PSP.

As much as I thoroughly enjoyed the previous titles in the SOCOM series, I liked this one even more. The fact that you are in control of four members of the fire-team gives many more opportunities for coordinating the elimination of the bad guys. The members of your team can be controlled separately, in pairs, or as a whole group.

Most of the missions require quite a bit of sneaking around. Once I figured out to just slow down and sneak around everyone, the game was much more enjoyable. Certainly in the later missions, the enemy is much too strong (and too numerous) for a head-to-head fight. It is much better to snipe them, or sneak up from behind for a knife-kill.

The missions are pretty straight forward with the typical "kill some rebels to help a minor foreign nation" theme.

This is a good enjoyable game.
