SOCOM: US Navy SEALs, is by far one of my all-time favorite console shooters. This was the first game that made going online with the ps2 worth while. The offline portion of the game at first glance may seem easy but as you beat the game, you get to play the game at a more difficult level. You will then notice how going through all 12 missions offline is more difficult than you expected. The sound is also pretty great in this game. The foreign voices are great specially. The missions are easy to do if you can follow the steps and play it safe. The intelligence of your team is good except your “Able” team, Boomer. Online you will have non-stop fun aside from the lag here and there. The cheating would have to be the only problem in the online aspect of the game. Overall a great game to buy although, SOCOM II is already out.
