SOCOM is definatlely a game that revolutionizes stealth-action on the PS2

SOCOM is the first of a great series. It has revolutionized the future for stealth-action games on the PS2. Although there is stealth, the body of the game is action, so dont get this confused with something as stealth-dependant as Splinter Cell.

The level designs, like in the other SOCOMs, are great and makes you feel like a real Navy SEAL. The guns are cool and satisfying to shoot, especially when things get tense. The jungle missions are the best because you really feel like your hiding and sneaking up on the enemy...if only they didnt wait to put the ability to swim in the third SOCOM, this game would've been a lot better.

Graphics are good enough not to bag on, because you can tell enemy from tree or bush....thats a plant, not the president. Also, the missions aren't too linear to hate. SOCOM is definatley an awesome game, and now its even a cheap one. So definately add this to your collection if you havnt already.
