This game isn't much like the old classic Sonic games, but it's extremely close. I still think Sonic Advance 1 is still better because the first one seemed to capture the original Sonic gameplay quite well. Sonic Advance 2 took little skill and all you did was hold down right and the level is done. This game, however, was not bad. I do like how you use a team of two characters in the game but it still kind of drifts away from the Genesis style just a little bit. If you have Sonic Advance, I'd get this one next because it is definately better than Advance 2 but maybe you should get Advance 2 first so you can follow along with the story.
