Watch it Eggman/Robotnik! It's Sonic, and he's... Dare I say... ADVANCED!!!

User Rating: 8.3 | Sonic Advance GBA
Sonic Advance is Sonic's first game on the Game Boy Advance, and it's basically the original style of gameplay in new settings, with just enough new stuff to keep it fresh.

One great thing, is the ability to play as FOUR different characters, Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, or Amy. Each has a unique style of play, and their own gimmick (for lack of a better word) which makes them all fun to play as. The graphics are great, and the characters look nice, and really have that Sonic feel to them. It's the kind of thing Sonic fans have been wishing for from Santa for years. The story is predictable, Eggman/Robotnik has a master Chaos Emerald, and you gotta go and kick his flabby egg shaped butt to stop him. A little tip, if you want Tails to follow you while you play as Sonic, there's a code for it. When you're in the "Select A Character" screen, focus on Sonic. Then, press: Down, Right, Up, Right, L, Right, R, Right, A. This will make a computer Tails follow you, he isn't smart, but he is handy as hell during a boss fight.

Sonic Advance is a chockie egg filled with Eggman/Robotnik thwarting goodness which has eluded us for the paxst decade. Kudos Sega.
