I must say this, this game is probably more like the first Sonic....and on GBA

The game stars one of the most well known characters ever, and if you're reading this review you already know who it is. Sonic Advanced brings back the old Sonic feel to the series, you just avoid most things in your way or destroy them and run through the stage. The characters that you are able to be in the game is Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy. As always Knuckles runs slower than Sonic, but can reach higher places by climbing or gliding. Tails is able to fly for an amount of time as always, and is still the same today. Amy can run fast, and wack stuff with her hammer. The boss is Dr. Eggman 99% percent of the time, but simple, sometimes easy, and fun. The first boss is sorta like the Sonic 2 boss, but with a hammer instead. They even bring back the first boss's from Sonic The Hedgehog, and Sonic 2. I feel that Sonic Advanced was fun for the first few monthes I've played it, but after playing it way too much it gets a little boring. It makes for a great game with four playable characters. It seems slower then the first Sonic game mainly because they never speed up the backround going to the left in this one...Aka the lie known as BP from the old days. This game is short and finds it's ways to stay as fun as it can be. It's much better than the "Sonic The Hedgehog" remake on GBA, that game slowed down way too much. So I'd say this is the best Sonic game for the GBA, it's also a good mix of both the games that came after it.
