Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is a good port, but I had more fun playing it on the dreamcast.

Sonic Adventure 2 Battle is a port of the revolutionary Dreamcast game Sonic Adventure 2. Released in 2002, it got mixed reviews. I, however, consider this a good port, but I had more fun playing it on the Dreamcast. This is because on the gamecube, it lost its finess. The graphics are somewhat the same on both versions, seeing as Sega was too lazy to possibly up the visuals. the characters still look smooth, and some of the levels look very good. The camera in this game is not exactly my favorite part. It doesn't follow the character as well as it did in the DC version. It sometimes get lodged behing objects, dragging you to a miserable and pathetic death. The sound in this game is good, containing catchy tunes, but the sound effects are recycled. Finally, the gameplay. The controls are good, seeing as the buttons are located close to each other, allowing for easy switching. That is one major plus. However, the controls can sometimes be less responsive as they were on the DC. SA2B is a good game overall, but its a shame that Sega didnt make it the mind-blower it had the potential to be.
