The gamespot reveiwer was just having a bad day i guess...
THE GOOD:
One of the greatest storylines of any game i've played, it may be simple, but at the same time it fits the game perfectly and thats what really counts.
Sonic and Shadow levels are a ton of fun
The first half of tails, doctor robotnic, knuckles and rouge levels are fun
has an amazing soundtrack that helps you get into the game
Even though its for little kids, and very simple playing with chaos is where i had the most fun in this game (little pets you can customize to look like lions, dragons etc., with different abilities, you can make them good or evil and then make them fight against eachother), their extremely addictive and can take years to get them how you want
Some of the best replay value ive ever seen due to great level design, variety and chaos.
Amazing boss battle, while its extremly easy, nothings better than being super sonic and super shadow, coming together in one final battle
The game almost made me cry at the end and i beat it when i was 15
(not really but you get the point)
If you were smart and didn't get dreamcast, you were patient and you finally got the few goods that came along with it
THE BAD:
Graphics arent up to par with gamecube technology (oh boo ho their good enough)
Voice overs are terrible (which makes them hillarious)
The non-sonic/shadow levels are annoying near the end because their not fast paced and are too long (this bad doesnt have a good side =( ... oh well)
