Sonic at it's best!

This game, first off, does not deserve the rating they gave it on the front page, at all! It deserves a rating suitable for all sonic games! This game first off was made for a great console called Sega Dreamcast, way back in the mid 90's. Dreamcast was an awesome system, that featured sonic in a new adventure scheme. Dreamcast, Sega's last system, soon, feel under and only got to complete, i think 3 new sonic games, one which was sonic adventure 2 and also sonic shuffle. Well getting off track, sega then stopped making consoles and started making games for new consoles like gamecube, xbox, and playstation 2. so, so far, i hope you understand some history behind this game, gamecube then bought the rights for sonic adventure 1 and 2, but they added new features to the game like sonic 1 was DX and sonic 2 was battle. DX, is directors cut, which really the big difference is the new mini mode where you get clues and find certain things all over the game. DX also looks a lot smoother, and I found it a lot better than its sequel. DX catches the speed of sonic and smoothness and almost liquid like moves through levels. Through the game you can get upgrades to go faster, speed through rings, and bash enemies to bitty bits. This game is no chump game either. It is hard. There will be times where you have no idea where to go and you find yourself exploring each level. It can get frustrating at times, but its not too hard. Also, another cool feature, you can play as sonic, tails, knuckles, amy rose, big, gamma, which all have different story lines and different challenges that link together in one huge story. The game is awesome, by the end of the game you will know pretty much everything inside out! In sonic, there are a cool little pets called chao's that follow well with the story line. You can give them different features to make them like sonic, or like knuckles or like tails and so on! After i bet the game for the 5th time, twice on Dreamcast and 3 times on gamecube, i started getting invloved with the chao's. You can also link up the gamebaoy advanced games and trade your chao's there. This game has soooo much to offer, and it gives so much time just to have fun! This is the best 3D sonic game i have ever played, and i suggest you buy it! If you havent already!
