How can a Gamecube port of a Dreamcast game have a very impressive graphical update, an added fun mission mode that extends the game greatly, and a plethera of retro Game Gear games to unlock, and score SO MUCH WORSE than the original?

I'm not going to go into the fine details for this review. I'm going to keep it short. It's a port. Not a remake. The niggles that you really didn't mind in the Dreamcast version aren't any more annoying a few years later. The story is fantastic, the soundtrack is brilliant, all the old characters that we know and love are back in glorious 3D including Tails, Knuckles, Amy and Eggman and most important of all it retains the charm of old-skool Sonic games.

I don't care if I sound arrogant, I have a few words of advice for Gamespot.

Appreciate it for what it is, and enjoy it. Andy Fenn

  This port of Sonic Adventure... it's very buggy, and the graphics aren't quite as good. And that brings the game down.
