the first sight of this game and i was nervus. sonic isn't good at racing. infact screwattack.com named sonic r the worst sonic game ever. but when i rented this game i was impressed. sonic is able to make a very good racing game with some old friends at his side. now let's talk about the racers. sonic and his forest friends make sense, but it seems like sega desided to jam pack all of there old friends. billy hatcher, bonanza bros, ulala, opa opa, banjo and kazoie (xbox 360 exclusive), EVEN ALEX KIDD IS IN HERE. it would be nice to see some other great sega characters like ristar and toe jam and earl. now there are some racing modes like normal, gusse what that mode is. tornamet, where you race in 4 diffrent races. and challenge (or what ever it was called), where you do certain challengers to prove your the best racer around. there is also a online mode but i only did it once (fyi i won). it worked well and i didn't see any lag. in conclusion i can't think of any other racing game on the market right now then SONIC AND SEGA ALL STARS RACING! buy it!
