After a bunch of faliures, including Sonic the Hedgehog (2006), Sonic Riders, Sonic Team finally got it right.

It's not perfect. With confusing controls and a confusing storyline (although the story is not that bad once you appreciate the change in though) you would wonder how this game is good. Well, it is. With a great sense of speed and awesome combat, this game is worth every penny. Sonic Team has finally made a good game for the first time in a long time.

First let me explain how Sonic plays the game. He is always running at a great speed, which you might need to get used to, but once you do, it's fun. In order to do Sonic's signature Homing Attack, all you have to do is press two to jump and shake the Wii remote, although sometimes you have difficulty targeting the right enemy. To go left and right, all you have to do is tilt the Wii remote.

One of the things I didn't like was that the enemies were mostly the same, with one or two differences. Another problem is that the multiplayer mode might need to have the visuals fixed.

However, Sonic and the Secret Rings is one of the best games I've seen in a long time. Every Sonic fan must get this game.
