This is a game better left to the Sonic fan. It's so incredibly frustrating and can try your patience.

I have never been a huge fan of Sonic. I have played every Sonic game there is though, always in the hopes that one day I will do more than just kinda enjoy it and then get over it ands go on about my business. I want to like Sonic games, and I just can't seem to. This is one of the best looking Sonic games I've seen, and the sense of speed is amazing, but it has the same things present in this game as older games. I dont like how you're on a rigid track for one thing, and I understand thats a necessity to keep it fast moving, but while you're being led on a track, then out of the blue, you have control again, and if you don't do exactly what you're supposed to, you die, and have to start again from the beginning. And that will test your patience. Alot. I dont like games that are trial and error and memorizing boards to avoid death. It's something Ive always disliked about these games and something this new game, no matter how beautiful, is still plagued by. So, in essence, the graphics are wonderful, the sense of speed is wonderful, the story is interesting, and I gotta say I kinda like the whole 80's hairmetal soundtrack thrown in, but ultimately I dont have the patience to stick with this game. Im sure if I did, it might be rewarding and worth it. But it's annoyed me too bad to get that far.
