Not even a proper Sonic game,this rocks the house!The best graphics and sound on GBA,not to mention great gameplay.

The Sonic series often abandons it's trademark running-platforming scenario,and takes up something "new".Shadow The Hedgehog?Good,but tries too hard.Sonic Spinball?Alright.Sonic Championship?Good[again],but Sonic Battle,this almost-remake of SC,is the king of all the unconventinal Sonic games.The graphics are brilliant.The healthy mix of manga-style artwork and colourful detailed 3-D enviroments and attacks really get's the GBA screen working.The sound is impressive,too.The techo/rock music is revolutionary and suits the arenas well.The plot is both consistent and intresting,helping the player to delve into and explore the Sonic universe.The simple controls are spot on as well,perfect for a good rumbling session alone[and with two player,with friends too] .The mini games are good,too,but who cares about those?Amy's smug Eggman's smug little mug is in the cart,waiting for a thrasing.
