Goes to show that Sonic Team is finally back on track with great plans ahead for Sonic!

The reason I played this was because of Jontron's review saying that its actually a spectacular game and that it gets an "A/5". I was intrigued by this, as Sonic games to date have not done well, so I decided to give it a try.

I must say that I was not expecting such a solid experience that delivers MUCH MORE than what I would expect. The experience is enhanced with game play mechanics that use aliens for special abilities which is quite innovate on top of that. SEGA took a big risk with
A) Mixing 2D and 3D game play.
B) Incorporating special powers for sonic, which has never been used before in most Sonic games.
But they did, and FLAWLESSLY! This is by far the ultimate sonic experience and is at the very least, worth a rent for those seeking a new experience, and a must own for Sonic fans. The characters are colorful and the environments are the same. The game puts you in a great mood, and despite a handful of difficult levels, this game could not have been better executed.
Keep up the great work Sonic Team, we still have faith in you! :)
