First Review. Sonic's TRUE comeback! Get out of here, Sonic 4.
The story of this game is very, very simple. There's no serious, epic, time travel related storyline. And perhaps it's better that way. One thing this game would never do good without is the Wisp power ups. There are eight power ups, containing a lazer, a drill, a dog with rabies, and tons more. The boost from Unleashed makes a return, though you don't use it nearly as much in this game. The boost is really only useful for long trails of rings that you can suck in. There are seven bosses in the game, but really only feels like there's four. 3 bosses in the game are each recycled once. The final boss is unique though, so don't worry about that.
Sorry Sonic 4, you just weren't that great of a game. Get your physics right. Colors is where it's at! If you're a Sonic fan, definitely buy this game. And even if you're not a fan, go out and rent this, you won't be disappointed. I give this game a perfect 10 out of 10. Great job, Sega.
