A great collection, with some minor drawbacks

Yes, I'm finally doing another review, but I'm going to be a bit simplistic with it (category by category): Gameplay: The 3 games that are the attraction of it are great. Sonic Fighters is a hilariously addictive fighter (I love the character warping moves), though not as advanced as it's competition, and also is a bit underbalanced (which i'll discuss in tilt). Even so, it is fun and enjoyable by any gamer, especially sonic fans. Sonic CD is an awesome platformer, one of sega's best (they should learn from it). Not much else to say about it; it's great. Sonic Racing gives mixed feelings. I always have a great time with it, but underbalancing and the decision to only have supersonic (where's hyper knuckles or turbo tails?!), along with the sometimes painstaking effort needed to unlock everything (though you can always switch it to easy mode, if you're a noob!). However, when that is done, if you make sure to choose balanced characters (I laugh at anyone using "metal" tails), it makes for a great time. Online races with every slot taken up would be great, but we cant expect the Gamecube to have online (boo!). The rest of the games are all ok. Sonic spinball is a pretty good pinball type game, sonic drift 2 is a lackluster racing game (why include it when they have sonic r?!), and the rest are platformers that are fun for a little while. Though Vectorman is still great to this day. Graphics: What can you expect for games of 32 bit and before generations? Not much. Though Sonic Racing still looks pretty good to date, so the score doesnt suffer too much. Sound: Amusing effects, and great music (in most games) make for an ok score here. Value: With so many games, you'll be playing for a long time. And it's only thirty bucks, can't go wrong there. Tilt: Down a couple points due to underbalancing in Sonic R and Fighters. Bottom line is that this is an awesome collection, though with some flaws, that is definitely worth a purchase.
