Your enjoyment of Sonic Mega Collection is based on how much you love classic Sonic. I am a huge fan of the Genesis Sonic titles so this game is really great for me. Sonic 1-3 and Sonic and Knuckles are amazing titles that are well restored here while the other titles are basicly tacked on throwaway items that few will actually care for. However the core titles more than make up for the poor ones and there are few games that match the classic Sonic games. really it can be argued that Sonic is less of a videogame and more of a interactive on rails ride but anyone who beat the games can tell you its no small task. For the low price tag this is a game that almost anybody could use in their collection.
