Sonic Mega Collection Plus

Very good emulation of classic games. However Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine seems to run too fast (XBOX version).

The Sonic games were great for their time and this cheap-to-buy collection does a great job. It excludes Sonic CD which is really unfortunate but the other Sonic games are great fun. However Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine seems to run about 1/3rd faster than it should. Maybe its me, but it as if the game was accidentally over-clocked. Also the inclusion of the GameGear sonic games is a bit pointless since they are short, low-resolution, simplified versions of the Genesis games. Unless you are a Sonic fanatic, you wont ever play these. Definately at least rent this if you liked Sonic games. This gets a solid 8.
