A series of classics make this a must own title that is fun for all ages and very long.

This is a worthy addition to your gaming collection, forget about having this as a rental though simply because its to long, you will not finish all 15+ games so quickly. Sonic Mega Collection Plus features Sonics most well known and famous games but not all, you get the main sonic 1, 2 and 3 and then spin-offs such as sonic spinball (A pinball game) and the mighty sonic and knuckles game which featured some of the best graphics of its time, pushing the console to its limit, and a few games that are not sonic games. One thing that stands out about this game is its variety, not only in gameplay but graphics, difficulty and length since you playing multiple games from different years and not just one, you can make this game very easy if you wish though simply because you now have an option to save where ever and when ever you want. Although this appeals mainly to the older generation of gamers the younger audience should check this game out, it is simple and repetitive but thats part of the appeal. It is simple, you dont have to figure out hard puzzels or remember button combos to do special attacks because this game is to simple for that and if you dont abuse the save feature to make the game easy and you play it how you had to in the early 90s then you will discover that some of the games in Sonic Mega Collection are some of the most difficult of all time. This game lacks in some things though, the plot for all games are simple, some have no plot, it is almost completly 2-D and some games are repetitive. However if you are open minded and care more about having fun and not depth in plot, chartacter growth etc, or look, then you will enjoy this. There are also bonuses to get, mainly just artwork but there are some hidden games and videos of Sonic Heros which is Sonics latest 3-D game. At the end of the day, if you love simple gameplay, dont mind simple plots or nice colourful 2-D graphics then this is a must own and is for all ages.
