Sonic a blast from the past.

BLUE STREAK SPEEDS BY... I remeber back in 1992/ 1993 I got a little bored with saving princess' who somehow managed to get kidnapped all the time. I wondered wow what kind of body gaurds does this royal family have. Then SEGA did me a favor and alliviated my problem. They introduced Sonic The Hedgehog to the world. He was the dude with the tude, the man with a plan and most off he was fast! Years later Sonic is still doing things right over multiple systems which I thought would never happen, but he's still the man. His collection proves that an old school game can still rock in a new school era. TO FAST FOR THE NAKED EYE.... Sonic's collection of games consist of all his genesis games and game gear games. These all play as they did when they were released. They still move as fast as ever and affored you with a good time. However all the problems come along with it, too. Remeber going so fast that when you got hit things slowed down because of all those rings going across the screen. Well thats still there, and those hit and miss controls are in place, too. All in all it's still good fun to see him in his glory days. LOOK OUT WHEN HE COMES THROGUH... In addition to the games there are a few things you can unlock. There is a gallery in place where you can see some history on him. There are some comic covers for him and other ins and odds in place to help you rekindle that lost feeling for the blue buzz saw. You can now save at anytime in the game which made it real easy for me to collect those darn gems in sonic 2 cause hey playing as super sonic was so much cooler. SONIC HE CAN REALLY MOVE, SONIC HE'S GOT AN ATTITUDE.... In closing I'd like to say that this one is my favorite collection game besides mega man. If your an old school gamer and I know the term old school gets tossed around, but if you are then this one will fit the bill for you. Now only if someone will kidnap that darn princess and make a collection for the plumber. Sonic he truly is the fastest thing alive though. Enjoy! Unitl next review Peace.
