Revisits the good old Genesis/Mega Drive days. A must own for all Sonic fans, who need to remember Sonic at his best.

We all remember Sonic back in the Genesis days. But, unfortuantly, as time goes by these games become difficult to get hold off. Many old Sonic fans have sold their old games, and they want to be able to revisit the good old Sonic days. Fortunatly, Sonic Mega Collection Plus helped them revisit the good old memories of our hero Sonic in his early days.

Sonic Mega Collection comes with the true Sonic classics, such as Sonic The Hedgehog, our hero's first ever adventure. Sonic The Hedgehog 2, the first ever Sonic game with Tails and one of the best. Sonic The Hedgehog 3, the first game with Knuckles, and finally, Sonic (3) & Knuckles, Sonic's best adventure to date.
Now, we don't just have Sonic classics on here as well. We also have the Game Gear version of Sonic The Hedgehog, which was truely remarkable for that system. Dr Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine, a puzzle game like Tetris. Sonic Spinball, a game where Sonic goes through pinball themed levels etc. All of these games are classics, and well remembered.
Some other good ones are also Sonic Chaos and Sonic Blast, but they're not as good as the Sonic classics. Although they do follow the standard Sonic gameplay.

However, in this collection of Sonic games there's always some crappy ones. For example, Sonic Labyrinth, a maze type Sonic game that gets really boring. Sonic 3D Blast, a 3D Sonic game which doesn't work very well. Sonic Drift, a 2D-ish racer but not enough tracks and replay. However, the classic Sonic games outweigh these weak ones, so it's not much of a problem.
There are also some unlockable Sonic games as well, but I'm not going to spoil how you get them. All I'm going to tell you is that they are really easy to unlock, and most of them are good.

There's more than Sonic games on here as well? You said more? That's right!. There's also some comics you can read plus game manuals. You can also look at most of the Sonic comic covers. Plus you can look at some illustrations from the Sonic world as well. There's also a Sonic Heroes video as well, but you wouldn't want to watch that!.

Obviously though, the main reason you'd want to buy this is for the Sonic games not the extras. You'll get a few crappy Sonic games but over half of them are at least good. You can also save anywhere on every Sonic game so that's a big advantage you've got with this. I'd suggest that if you were at least a Sonic fan once, you should get this to help you remember why you liked Sonic in the first place. If you've been a Sonic fan the whole time however, then this is instantly a must buy for you.
