A fun pinball game that stars the sonic cast in an enjoyable game.
There isn't much of a story besides eggman trying to capture animals and turn them into robots. But this time eggman is holding a pinball tournament(how appropriate), and sonic decides to enter. As he progresses, he discovers that some of his friends are being controlled by eggman, so it's up to him to win at the pinball tables and free his friends.
The gameplay is simplistic, seeing as all you have to do is press the left directional button and the A button to use the flippers. There are kickbacks, bonuses, loops, special modes if you hit special areas enough, multiballs, everything else and more that you'd expect from a sonic pinball game. There are multiple tables that appear if you defeat the table's "boss" which appear as the different zones in sonic advance. The other modes have regular arcade style pinball that includes two additional tables, which are nights into dreams and samba de amigo, multiplayer games, the tiny chao garden where you can raise your own virtual pet using the rings you earn from playing the games, and casinopolis, which is made up of three different games consisting of roulette, slots, and bingo(the best one). You can play these games with the rings you earn to try and win more rings, which makes raising your pet in the chao garden much easier.
The graphics are very crisp and clean as you play through each pinball table and there is no glitching whatsoever. Everything is colorful and bright, just the kind of thing you would expect from the genre. Music is also nice and catchy at times.
Overall, if you want a fun, portable pinball game that doesn't disappoint, then get this. I recommend this to everyone. Cheers!
